BRICS Youth SDG Forum will take place 14–16 December 2020 and will become the key international youth event aimed at promoting and implementing the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

The Forum is co-organized by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, National Youth Council of Russia, BRICS Youth Energy Agency and MIREA – Russian Technological University.

The main objective of the Forum is to facilitate youth participation in generation of impactful and innovative ideas that can help achieve the UN SDGs by 2030. The Forum will feature plenary sessions and expert panel discussions, interactive workshops and foresight sessions, unleashing the Campaign #FromBRICSwithSDG and the BRICS Sustainable Ideas Bank.

The event will gather high-profile decision-makers, experts and youth practitioners to empower active youth participation and facilitate their creative potential through cross-cultural team work and project development. The geographic scope of the event will cover the BRICS countries and other partner regional organizations, including the Commonwealth of Independent States, the Eurasian Economic Union, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and ASEAN.
