    Despite the fact that this is the first time when a team of Univeristy of Brazil took part as developers of the Outlook, it contributed the very best research paper and became the winners.

    The Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas is a leading think-tank and educational centre for petroleum and energy studies. Those qualities can be attributed to their research team who became winners of the Outlook 2020.

BRICS Youth Energy Summit 2020 is held in a mixed mode with venues in two of five countries

We have prepared an intensive one day programme where you can explore the BRICS spirit driven by young people. We gathered at one place energy and youth officials, experts and, most important, young people who will define the future of the BRICS energy industries.

The invited senior youth and energy officials from BRICS countries along with young professionals and researchers address the BRICS Youth engaged in youth energy cooperation.

Presentation of the BRICS Youth Energy Outlook 2020

15:30 - 16:45

Presentation of the only one of its kind the BRICS Youth Energy Outlook 2020 which was developed by 190 young researchers representing 42 leading BRICS universities.

Plenary discussion on BRICS youth energy cooperation and national activities in 2021


The discussion is aimed to define short- and long-term goals and tasks for BRICS youth energy cooperation with a broad range of stakeholders from BRICS countries.

#FromBRICSwithSDG Final Event on Sustainable and Smart cities


Young activists and researchers will present the best practices of Sustainable and Smart cities from BRICS and beyond.
